First of all, I was shocked by what these costs up here, but soon realized that it is not Amazon, but the sellers seek to profit from the demand for Zhu Zhu Pets. And 'Wii story again and again, I'm not putting out more than they usually these costs. Num nums I had my daughter at Wal-Mart for one quarter what it would cost me here now. I think the wait!In any event, pets Zhu Zhu is a great toy for my 4 years old, he wanted a hamster and good for me, since I do not want to clean up after smelling a rodent. They're cute and I love the names. But seriously, are not worth $ 32. Wait until the demand has slowed down and pay $ 8 Wal-Mart is charging when they are in action!
Zhu Zhu Review
He took two of these guys the other day (it was my second) as it was in the store and I happened to be in the shop. A little 'background first: I am 26 years a collector of many things, including pets robotics. I tried Furbys, Micropets, Neopets, pets Scoozie, Petal-chi, Mutsu, Friends Fureal, and still consider myself a bit more 'expert in the field.
To begin with, these things eat batteries, have triple-A is at hand. Secondly, I have no set game, are only evidence of hamsters.
After opening and removal of this little boy I tried "how to cuddle," which was a bit 'disappointing. The hamster are still cute and make noises every few seconds or so, but he is not really responding to anything. "Try me mode" is when the hamster is off but you can push the nose to hear a random noise, not a lot of fun there. Now the playback mode, which is where the fun is. The wheels are fast and the grip is really strong, I promptly put on my boyfriend to see if it would climb up my shirt and he did, he hit the back of the sofa, a rubber band noise and ran down. He also cracked up at it. It addresses all carpet and hard surfaces, no problem, and does a lot of different noises, approximately 40 in total, and each of the four designs unique sounds!. You have to be careful around the stairs, but overall does what has been done to make and cheap at that. Are less than normal retail figure more action
(I got mine at normal retail and I suggest you wait until you can too. If you have kids and can't find them try giving a cute IOU written from the hamster saying how it will come to live with your child after X-mas. They have a guarantee from you, you have a kid who still has something to look forward to after December. All is well.)
Remember these are for ages 3 and up and have motorized parts. It says in the instruction to supervise your child, so do so. Risk is probably minimal but if you have a kid you wouldn't give a RC car to then they're probably too little for these.
So to wrap up
Good: Funny and varied sounds, cheap, cute, runs fast and randomly, fascinates my dog!
Bad: Hard to find (for now), eats batteries (2 AAA), can pinch, can be broken with a moderate impact.
